Off late, many of the television actors are quitting their show for various reasons. Here, are 5 such TV actors who had the guts to quit their prime show

Lack of screen space, leaps, and creative differences over storyline has been some of the major reasons why we see a lot of replacements in TV serials these days. It is another story how difficult it becomes to relate with the newcomers instead of their favorite face on their favorite show. But there are others who quit for reasons beyond the obvious. Here is a ready reckoned list of TV actors who quit recently due to various reasons:

1. Karan Singh Grover (Qubool Hai)

Karan Singh Grover aka the beloved Mr. Khan of Qubool Hai became the famous face of Zee TV once he along with Surbhi Jyoti became the heart of the show. Audiences showered so much love on them that they were not only the topic at different social media and forums but their fan following also earned the show with maximum awards. However, Karan Singh Grover’s journey in the show soon came to an end when the producers blamed him of throwing tantrums on the show. Few months back Raqesh Vashisht replaced him. However, the news is that post Qubool Hai leap, Raqesh too have put in his resignation papers.

2. Sunil Grover (Comedy Nights With Kapil)

Yet another Grover in the quitting scene is the famous Guthi of Comedy Nights With Kapil. Guthi aka Sunil Grover had some tiffs with Kapil Sharma and after lot of cold war, he finally decided to quit. Post his exit from Comedy Nights With Kapil we saw him in an all new show Mad In India which airs on Star Plus. Here, Chutki is the replica of Guthi and we also have Sunil Grover in another child like appearance, “Sabjee.”

3. Dipika Samson (Sasural Simar Ka)

As per the latest TOI report, buzz is that Dipika Samson has quit the famous Colors tele serial Sasural Simar Ka where she plays the protagonist Simar. Looks like the girl got bored with playing the same role for a period of 3 years and now wants to explore new opportunities. Well, that’s part and parcel of any career and we wish her all the very best for her future endeavors. Talking about buzz, then there is also news that Manish Paul has finally said good-bye to Sunil Grover’s Mad in India on Star Plus.

4. RJ Mantra (India’s Got Talent)

Many of the television serial actors have quit serials to act in a Bollywood film. While, some could really turn out their movie career quite well like Shah Rukh Khan, Preeti Desai and Sushant Singh Rajput, there were others like Mihir of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi who completely doomed at the box office. In addition, there are RJ turned television anchors who recently joined the bandwagon of getting into Bollywood movies – Suresh Menon, Manish Paul and the latest being RJ Mantra. Mantra quit India’s Got Talent recently, only for his Bollywood dreams. He has been replaced  by VJ Andy.

5. Ritvik Dhanjani – Asha Negi (Pavitra Rishta)

The Arjun-Purvi Jodi that even compelled the haughty Ekta Kapoor to bring them together in their reel life through fan’s petition has bid adieu from Pavitra Rishta, the show that made them overnight superstars in the Television world. Some say, Asha Negi wanted to quit the show due to Ankita Lokhande who plays her on-screen mother. No wonder, Ankita has a long history of throwing tantrums on the set. However, this cannot be the only reason. Anyways, the audience’s favorite Jodi Arjun – Purvi cannot be replaced so I think the makers will rather choose to end their track as the main focus of the show is not their story right now but that of Ankita – Naren.
