The condemnation of the Peshawar attacks by the Al Qaeda very much seems to be a case of the pot calling the kettle black

Expresses Remorse over Peshawar AttacksPeshwar Attackers Taliban 3 650 AL QAEDA SHEDS CROCODILE TEARS

  1. According to reports, there is a rather unusual source of sympathy for the Peshawar Attacks now emerging. While civil society all over the world has expressed its solidarity for the bereaved in Pakistan and governments all over the world have pledged their support to Pak in their fight against terror, this recent statement was rather unexpected.
  2. The local branch of the Al Qaeda in Pakistan has spoken out against the Talibani massacre of school children. Reportedly their collective hearts were Bursting in Pain at the incident.
  3. Considering the fact that the Al Qaeda has supported the Taliban with regiments of imported fighters from Arab countries and Central Asia in the past, this sudden holier than thou attitude is at odds with the basic tenets of the Al Qaeda’s existence.
  4. However the corollary to the statement makes it rather more believable: their hearts may be pained but it doesn’t stop them from urging militants to target security forces in the same breath. According to them the “crimes and atrocities of the Pakistani army has crossed the limit” so it is the army that should be the just recipient of such attacks, not women, children and oppressed Muslims.
  5. The condemnation of the incident by the Al Qaeda very much seems to be a case of the pot calling the kettle black.
  6. Or is it that this terror organisation, which has the blood of perhaps the most number of innocents on their hands, is feeling chagrin at someone else committing the type of act of terror they themselves are famous for?
