Shakespeare’s ‘As you like it ‘has this beautiful verse:
“Sweet are the uses of adversity,
Which, like the toad, ugly and venomous,
Wears yet a precious jewel in his head;
And this our life, exempt from public haunt,
Finds tongues in trees, books in the running brooks,
Sermons in stones, and good in every thing.”
The adversity of Chennai Floods revealed the true ‘enemies’ and true ‘friends’ to the struggling people, screaming for life.Muslim brothers were in the fore-front ,swimming through narrow lanes,rescuing every one,supplying essentials and even disposing dead bodies of Hindus.Their rules or religion did not hinder them saving people and showing love.Here are my collection of photos that speak for themselves ! Christians,RSS workers were also on the field helping people recover to normalcy.
Ready To Rescue !
