From quite some days we were hearing a lot about Sonam Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan shooting for a song in Turkey. Soon we got to know it is Yo Yo Honey Singh’s Single Dheere Dheere Se – A reprise of 1990 Bollywood musical drama Aashiqui.
Next, Miss Kapoor announced on Twitter that the date of the launch is September 1. However, the wait was finally over yesterday when Sonam Kapoor shared the song with her fans well before its official launch!

The song with its release became an instant hit and here are the reasons why:
The Lovey Dovey Couple
The song features the Greek God of Bollywood Hrithik Roshan and the ever-so-smiling Sonam Kapoor romanticizing each other with unspoken sentiments conveyed through affectionate peeps and some sweet nothings. They are paired together for the very first time and they have blown the fans completely with their splendid chemistry. It wouldn’t be surprising if filmmakers would line up to sign them together for a romantic movie.
The Scenic Locales of Turkey
Any romantic song is incomplete without a starry-eyed romantic setting. It has to have three things along with good music and lyrics – Gorgeous locations, dreamy milieu and picturesque environ. Dheere Dheere Se not only fulfills these requirements but make you fall in love with its mesmerizing background. Great cinematography indeed!
The Well Timed Signature Raps of Yo Yo Honey Singh
It would have been really a challenge to reprise a song that has been a love anthem from decades now. Quite infamous for his vulgar lyrics and offensive songs, Honey Singh has surprised us by not being the same here. He sounds much better in romantic numbers than his trademark alcohol songs.
Of course, the Romantic Lyrics Coming From the Diary of Yo Yo
Instead of saying, “I swear! Chhoti dress mein bomb lagdi mennu,” Yo Yo is singing “Teri meri…meri teri…ek jindadi..ek jindadi…what to do” this is enough to say how Yo Yo Honey Singh simply sizzle in the video with both his music as well as lyrics.
The foot tapping music
Honey Singh has always given us some foot tapping music. While, Dheere Dheere is not like his typical songs, one simply cannot stop humming the reprise version all day after listening it for once. I’m sure most of the listeners would have gone for the second round.
What really stands out is the fashion in which Dheere Dheere has been shot. The part where Sonam Kapoor realizes Hrithik’s love for her after entering in his room makes you believe in fairy tale love stories once again. Almost all the sequences in the song is so beautifully filmed that it instantly puts you in a good mood.
Hrithik Roshan’s Dance Steps
Towards the end Hrithik Roshan is the one who is stealing the thunder in this song. All thanks to his groovy dance and jaw dropping look. Kudos to Ahmed Khan who made him dance further accentuating the song.
That’s what we loved about the Dheere Dheere song. In case you haven’t watched this romantic video yet, check it out here and do tell us what you like the most in the comment section.
