Many well meaning and talented filmmakers make films about child abuse that may be too grim to show kids or may be too abstruse for kids to understand and relate to. This short animated film on child sexual abuse that is simple and to the point; it clearly but gently sets out a scenario that kids will readily comprehend, with guidelines that a child will find easy to follow.

This film is made by the CHILDLINE India Foundation an NGO supported by the Union Ministry of Women and Child Development (MWCD) under the Integrated Child Protection Scheme. The Child Helpline No 1098 is India’s first toll free children’s phone outreach program. It serves to protect children from abuse – physical, sexual and other, it works against child labour, drug abuse and other child related issues and offences.
The website of the organisation has a useful section relating to Child Protection & Rights, with details important sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, the Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Act, 1986, the Advisory for Eliminating Corporal Punishment in Schools under Section 35(1) of the RTE Act, 2009 and so on.
