From April 15, Ekta Kapoor and Zee TV together will launch an all new serial Kumkum Bhagya starring Sriti Jha and Shabbir Ahluwalia, replacing Ekta Kapoor’s most loved Pavitra Rishta

Ever since Ekta Kapoor started producing movies in Bollywood, there has been less of Tulsi and Kussum on the small screen but more of Sunny Leone on the big screen. Busy producing movies in tinsel town, she has now finally managed time for an all new show on Zee TV.

Yes, starting from April 15th, Balaji Telefilms will be back with their all new show KumKum Bhagya starring Sriti Jha and Shabbir Ahluwalia.

Same story in different style, the serial will take us into the lives of Sriti’s family where Sriti will play an elder sister to her 2 younger sisters in an all women family. The best part of the show is, it is expected to be very positive unlike the daily soaps, going by what the actress has to say.

Another thing which attracts the audiences is that it is a fresh love story for the audiences of Zee TV to watch since there is no more Purvi – Arjun or the original Asad romancing Zoya during the prime time hours from Monday to Friday.

Moreover, KumKum Bhagya stars none other than the handsome Shabbir Ahluwalia. For many of Shabbir’s fan finally the wait is over as he is once again back on the small screen and that too in an all new love story with him being in the focus along with the female lead.

So, here you can have all of him from Monday to Friday at 9pm. Yes, the show now replaces Pavitra Rishta, as PR moves to an all new slot of 6.30pm.

Let’s see whether Ekta’s new venture makes a similar impact as that of Pavitra Rishta or the audience rather choose to stick to other channels.
