Golden Kelas 2014 Nominations – more nominations. Find out how to cast your own vote for the worst in Hindi Films, songs and actors for the awards that will be announced in March 2014

In part 1 of the Golden Kela Nominations post, we saw some of the main category nominations such as best worst actor, best worst actress, movie of the year and so on. We continue with the list of nominations for this year with some more amusing nominations such as the most atrocious lyrics, their utterly unique “have to gone insane” award and more:

Nominations for the Worst Supporting Actor

Aditya Roy Kapoor for Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Imran Khan for Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola (and here I thought he was the lead in the film – shows how much I know), Sanjay Dutt for Zanjeer (a favourite movie for the Golden Kelas this year and for obvious reasons). Uniquely the nominations also include the whole male cast of ABCD –Anybody can Dance and Sachin Joshi for Whatever he Did (that’s not a movie name in case you’re wondering – I suppose it was tough to decide between two stellar films like Jackpot and Mumbai Mirror)

Worst Supporting Female Actress(es)

Deepika, Jacqueline, Amisha for Race 2 (they clearly could not decide which of the three performances was the most outstanding, so that was a unique triple nomination for the film), Anushka Sharma for Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola (again, I thought she was the lead in the film – evidently I don’t know anything), the whole female cast of ABCD (an embarrassment of riches it would seem) Kangana Ranaut for Kkrish 3 and Vaani Kapoor for Shuddh Desi Romance.

The Baawra Ho Gaya Hai Ke Award Nominations, 2014

This very unique award will be won by any one of these illustrious film personalities: Vishal Bhardwaj for Matru, Tigmanshu Dhulia for Bullett Raja, Ali Zafar for Chashme Baddoor, Abhinav Kashyap and Ranbir Kapoor for Besharam, Aditi Rao Hydari for Murder 3 & Boss and Sudhir Mishra for Inkaar             and Aamir Khan for Dhoom 3. (my vote went to Ali Zafar simply because Chashme Baddoor was the crassest desecration of a classic, a travesty that should never have happened).

Nominations for the Most Irritating Song

More tough choices – Lungi Dance, Tum Hi Ho, Lat lag gayi, Party all Night, Raghupati Raghav and Gandi Baat.  However as a secret admirer of the Yo Yo Honey Singh man and generally liking the others, my tough decision was to pick between Raghupati Raghav and Lat Lag Gayi.

Nominees for the Atrocious Lyrics Award

Songs such as Raghupati Raghav, Saree ke fall sa, Tamanche pe disco, One two three four, Ishqiyoon Dhishqiyoon, Babli Badmaash, Grand Masti, Chingum chabaake, Boss were nominated in this category. I picked Grand Masti not because it is the worst; but simply because this dreadful movie should have been nominated in every single category and not just one; I was happy to be able to vote for against it in any category.

Worst Sequel/Remake Nominations

Tough competition again: Zanjeer, Chashme Buddoor, Aashiqui 2, Himmatwala, Race 2, Yamla Pagla Deewana 2, Murder 3, Krrish 3, Dhoom 3, Once Upon a Time in Mumbai Dobaara, Shootout at Wadala, Grand Masti – was again delighted to be able to vote for Grand Masti tough the utter crapiness of Himmatwala was tough competition.

Why Are You Still Trying Nominations

Preity Zinta for Ishqk in Paris, Sunny Deol for Singh Saab The Great, Prateik Babbar for Issaq, Vivek Oberoi for Jayantabhai ki Love Story, Neil Nitin Mukesh 3G and Shortcut Romeo, Shahid Kapoor for R…Rajkumar, Jackky Bhagnani for Rangrezz – now this one was tough to decide again, but for different reasons – most of these films passed me by – completely. Ultimately for me it was Sunny – at 56 he let himself be paired against a girl one third – one third mind you – his age.

Worst Debut Nominations for the Golden Kelas

Girish Kumar, Poonam Pandey, Ram Charan Teja, Sashe Agha, Veena Malik, Leander Paes – again same problem as before – I did not have the dubious joy of watching most of these people in action. I picked Poonam Pandey simply because she is the worst case of a wannabe since Rakhee Sawant.
