After Baba Ramdev, Dera Sacha Sauda’s chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Insan is all set to give a tough competition to India’s multi-crore FMCG.  While Baba Ramdev disrupted the market and even took FMCG sector by storm, Gurmeet Ram Rahim will be seen in direct competition with the yoga guru. No wonder, the busy bearded head who claims to have millions of followers have launched his own MSG Range of “Organic” and “Swadeshi” products.

Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Has Unveiled Over 150 Merchandizes

The Haryana-based controversial baba has launched around 150 merchandises under the brand name MSG. Some of the products are Noodles, Honey, Bottled Water, Pickle and Rice. The launch was done on Sunday at a media conference near his headquarter Sirsa.

The self-styled godman who is also an actor, singer, philanthropist elaborated about his brand name. He mentions MSG stands for the three heads of Dera Sacha Sauda so far “M – Mastana Ji”, “S – Satnam Ji” and “G – Gurmeet Ram Rahim”.

Gurmeet Ram Rahim Wants More Companies to Come With Organic Products though he is competing against Baba Ramdev

During the media conference, Ram Rahim elaborated that –

 “Our motive is not to compete with anyone in the market,” he said. “However, we appeal to other companies that they come up with organic products too, so the people of our nation can become healthier.”

However, despite his diplomatic statement, we know the sect leader is set to fight against Baba Ramdev whose brand Patanjali now has a wide consumer base in India as it has tied up with big groups including Reliance Retail Stores, Future Group’s Big Baazar, and DRDO. No wonder the consumer goods and natural foods under the brand name Patanjali  is already posing a threat to established Northern India according to the market experts.

The Dera Sacha Sauda Leader is Confident About the Quality of Products under the Brand MSG

Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh is the brand ambassador of MSG. He has therefore acquired a legal agreement from the manufacturer that permits him to step down from the position if any complaint comes up regarding the quality of the products. In the past, Baba Ramdev came under the radar for the Patanjali Ghee.

However, the sect leader maintains that there is little possibility of such an occurrence as the company provides “organic, premium and standard-quality” products.

The leader cum actor then spoke at length about the adverse effects of modern pesticides and fertilizers. This is what he quoted –

“When I was in Maharashtra for some time, I found farmers injecting chemicals into vegetables, and using toxic sprays and pesticides that are harmful to both man and animal,” he said at the press meet. “After that, they would harvest the crop the very next day for a hurried sale. It was then that I decided to enter the business of providing organic food to the people.”

Wondering where will the production take place? 

Well, as per Ram Rahim, the raw material for the products would be cultivated on Dera land as it would benefit the farmers who grow crops in accordance with the firm’s strict quality standards. Besides, the Company chairman CP Arora announced that the MSG products were launched simultaneously in domestic as well as international markets.He further added that MSG All-Trading International Private Limited has received dealership proposals from many countries, including the US, UK, Canada, Australia and Germany.
