Team India pace bowler Ishant Sharma touched the mark of 150th Test wicket on Thursday. By sending Kiwi batsmen Hamish Rutherford and Ross Taylor to pavilion he touched the milestone. Ishant took two wickets for 62 against New Zealand in the first Test match at Auckland.

Indian pace bowler Ishant Sharma has finally touched the milestone of 150 Test wickets. Sharma, who has been under scanner for his poor form from quite some time was a happy man on Thursday after taking two Test wickets touching the mark of 150.

Ishant Sharma Is Ishant Sharma Getting Back His Form?

On the opening day of the first Test match against New Zealand in Auckland, Ishant Sharma took two for 62. He sent back Hamish Rutherford and Ross Taylor to pavilion. On the second day of the match, he took another four wickets. Ishant Sharma seems getting back his form after a long time. He is the only cricketer being targeted frequently on social media websites for his poor performance very recently. Even, Team India skipper MS Dhoni has been targeted for his support to Sharma.

In recent times, Ishant Sharma’s performance has been so disastrous, his long time coach Sharvan Kumar felt that the fast bowler seems to have lost the focus. He even claimed that it’s now a pain to see Ishant bowl.

Earlier, Ishant Sharma used to bowl at a speed of 150kmph. But nowadays, he bowls at around 130kmph, which makes a batsman easy to play. He not only forgot yorkers, sometime he misses line-length too.
