They talk of human rights around the world, they topple the governments and put the country upside down to popularize and impose their selective brand of ‘Human Right.’ They are silent for Palestine, they are silent for Bahrain and they dare not speak against Saudi Arabia where the minorities are muzzled since the creation of that nation.

Having lost all hopes of any iota of success in Syria, the frustrated Al Qaeda strategist diverted their attention back to Iraq. A suicide bomber rammed his explosives-laden car into a funeral tent packed with mourners in a Shiite part of Baghdad early Saturday evening, the deadliest assault in a day of attacks that claimed at least 41 lives in Iraq. According to the Iraqi official the death toll from a bombing at a funeral in a Shiite neighbourhood in Baghdad has risen to 51. A second blast caused by suicide bomber on foot. The officials say women and children are among the dead, and that at least 70 people are wounded.

The Religious Fanaticism Then Calls For Its Next Victim

NAIROBI, Kenya, the next bloody adventure began shortly after noon Saturday.  At least five gunmen including at least one woman, first attacked an outdoor café at Nairobi’s Westgate Mall, a shiny, new shopping center. The mall’s ownership is Israeli, and security experts have long said the structure made an attractive terrorist target. The attack began shortly after noon with bursts of gunfire and grenades. Shoppers, expatriates and affluent Kenyans, fled in any direction that might be safe. Al-Qaeda-linked gunmen asked the victims they had cornered if they were Muslim. Those who answered yes were free to go, several witnesses said. The non-Muslims were not. Somalia’s Islamic extremist group Al-Shabab took responsibility and said the attack was retribution for Kenyan forces’ 2011 push into Somalia. The rebels threatened more attacks.

Al-Shabab said on its Twitter feed that Kenyan security officials were trying to open negotiations. “There will be no negotiations whatsoever.”

The Thirst For Blood In The Name of Religion Was Not Yet Quenched

The next rang at Peshawar, Pakistan. The poor marginalized Christian community suffered, like Shias, Hindus and Ahemdis, the most deadly attack in its history on Sunday happened when a pair of Taliban suicide bombers blew themselves up inside a church in the troubled city of Peshawar. The explosion took the life of 78 and wounded 141. Explosions ripped through the congregation of 500 people, including many women and children, as the service at All Saints church was coming to an end and worshippers were about to receive a free meal of rice in the courtyard outside. The interior of the 130-year-old building was turned into a bloodbath, with severed limbs scattered around and the walls pockmarked with ball bearings used as shrapnel by the bombers.

Without going the macabre details of these senseless, merciless and abhorrent killing of innocent, I would like to ask the peace loving citizens of the world in general and US in particular.

Who is responsible for the birth, sustenance and rise of Al-Qaeda, a Wahabi out-fit whose roots are deep buried in Najdi Culture and the doctrine of Saudi Arabia.

Uncle Sam

These tyrants are responding to a call to jihad (holy war) taken from one of Islamic fundamentalist Osama bin Laden’s notorious legacy. It was no other but Uncle Sam who gave currency to words MUJAHID and JIHAD to serve their ulterior motives against Soviet Union. It was a holy war against the “evil empire” of Soviet Union, and the clarion call was issued by US President Ronald Reagan on March 8, 1985. Before the mass murder of more than 6000 at WTC, New York and Washington on September 11, referred to Bin Laden as the “freedom fighter.”

Yet the US government still feels refuses to admit its central role in creating the vicious movement that spawned of Bin Laden, the Taliban and Islamic fundamentalist terrorists that plague the Arab World. The US or West’s mass media have always downplayed the origins of Bin Laden and his toxic brand of Islamic fundamentalism, the role of Saudi Arabia and other principal Gulf Kingdoms. There lies the hypocrisy.

Origin of Al-Qaeda

Let us come back to our original discussion – Origin of Al-Qaeda. In April 1978, the People’s Democratic Party of Afghanistan (PDPA) seized power in Afghanistan in reaction to a crackdown against the party by that country’s repressive government. The new regime was committed to a radical land reform that favoured the peasants, trade union rights, an expansion of education and social services, equality for women and the separation of church and state. The PDPA also supported strengthening Afghanistan’s relationship with the Soviet Union.

These policies enraged the wealthy semi-feudal landlords, the Muslim religious establishment (many mullahs were also big landlords) and the tribal chiefs. They immediately began organizing resistance to the government’s progressive policies, under the guise of defending Islam.

The US got cold feet at the spread of Soviet influence to its allies in Pakistan, Iran and the Gulf states. So, with the complicity of  Sheiks of Arabia, immediately a new army was raised and was given the name ‘mujaheddin.’ The Soviet Union withdrew from Afghanistan in 1989 and the mujaheddin captured the capital, Kabul, in 1992. Between 1978 and 1992, the US government poured at least US$6 billion (some estimates range as high as $20 billion) worth of arms, training and funds to prop up the mujaheddin factions. Other Western governments, as well as oil-rich Saudi Arabia, kicked in as much again. Wealthy Arab fanatics, like Osama bin Laden, provided millions more.

Washington’s policy in Afghanistan was shaped by US President Jimmy Carter’s national security advisor, Zbigniew Brzezinski, and was continued by his successors. His plan went far beyond simply forcing Soviet troops to withdraw; rather it aimed to foster an international movement to spread Islamic fanaticism into the Muslim Central Asian Soviet republics to destabilise the Soviet Union.

Bin Ladin Was One Of The Favorite Trooper of The US and Al Qaeda was its Baby.

The Arab Sheikhs and US are in cahoots and they are using the al Qaeda and off-shoots in Syria to destroy one the most ancient country on the world.

The happenings at Baghdad, Kenya and Peshawar are the proof that the Frankenstein you create for others calls its creators also.
