Today’s (24th February 2014) episode of Jodha Akbar had different angles in different parts. While the first part showed Ruqaiya trying to be bossy around Jodha by awarding her the Mughal harem, the other parts gave the hint as to how the serial is set to move forward in various directions.

Raja Bharmal is show in a battle against a small troop. His second son is suspicious as to why they could easily win this battle. Just when they were thinking the possibilities, a messenger comes saying Sujamal has attacked Mewar. Raja Bharmal realizes that this small battle was only to divert his attention from Mewar and vows to reach Mewar as soon as possible to teach Sujamal a lesson.

Meanwhile, Sharif-Ud-Din in a secluded place meets up Abul Mali and the two plans together to kill Jalal. Sharif-Ud-Din however maintains that, though he will bring Jalal to him, he will have to leave all his Begum alive and free. Abul Mali agrees and the two embraces. This is the moment when Abul Mali in his mind murmurs, “ I knows Sharif-Ud-Din what your desire, No wonder you give me Jalal and I shall give you Jodha!”

In the royal palace in the Diwan-E-Khaas, Akbar is very furious because nothing seems to be going well in the administration. Jalal scolds Adham for his negligence over Malwa, the region where he is a mansabdar and decides to remove him from this position. Addressing Atgah Khan he then orders to give the responsibility of Malwa to someone else in order to curb the constant attempt of Baz Bahadur.

In the Harem, Ruqaiya is planning to spend an evening with Jalal by giving him a surprise. While, parallelly, the love story of Jodha Akbar is blooming like never before…
