After Shahid Kapoor declaring he and Mira are expecting their child, Tusshar Kapoor surprising us that he is already a dad, we were expecting Kareena Kapoor Khan sharing the good news too. After all, rumours were circulating from past four months now. However, Saif Ali Khan finally decided to put an end to all the rumours by announcing to the world about Kareena’s pregnancy.
This is what he said –
“My wife and I would like to announce that we are expecting our first child in December. We would like to thank our well-wishers for their blessings and support and also the press for their discretion and patience.”
Now that we know Kareena Kapoor is expecting her first child. We have few suggestions about the name of the child going by the characters she played in her Bollywood films.
The first name that comes to our mind when we think about Kareena Kapoor is Geet, the character she played in Jab We Met. After all, we all want a person like Geet in this world and Kareena Kapoor too wouldn’t mind having a daughter to be named “Geet” – the most lively character Bollywood has ever seen!
The one who can talk the life out of someone, enjoys playing prank on others, have a strong opinion on everything, is always ready for adventures, is full of optimism, knows how to enjoy life and of course no one can take paanga with her.
Her name was Pooja but she preferred calling herself as Poo in Karan Johar’s film Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gam. Now that the Kapoor Khandan has all sort of nicknames and Kareena is herself addressed as Bebo, we wonder, if the Begum keeps her daughter’s name as “Poo” –
We loved the Pia we saw in 3 Idiots – Simple, elegant, intelligent and also very helpful. Short, beautiful and trendy, this name of Kareena’s character too goes well if Kareena Kapoor Khan is blessed with a baby girl.
Kia of Ki and Ka is the new revolutionary modern girl. We are sure the Pataudi family wouldn’t mind a bold and beautiful girl like Kia who would want to be an exception in the otherwise stereotypical world.
If the child is a Baby boy, we have few suggestions too –
Though we loved Saif Ali Khan in Omkara as Langda Tyagi, we simply cannot suggest this name to Kareena Kapoor but his original name Ishwar in the film is something that can be used by the proud parents. Also, it has the same initials as that of Saif Ali Khan’s first son who goes by the name of Ibrahim Ali Khan.
Sameer urf Sam
Remember Sameer of Dil Chahta Hai? Sam of Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein? Well, the couple can surely use this name. After all, the initial “S” is something that is so common in the Pataudi family.
That’s because Saif Ali Khan was seen as the strong deshbhakt Daniyal Khan in Phantom which got some very strong reaction from the neighboring country and also made Saif Ali Khan famous for his views.
Remember Salman Khan as “Lovely Singh?” in Bodyguard film starring Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead? Well, though the name is a beat offbeat, the couple can surely think about it as their son’s nickname. After all, offbeat is something highly trendy these days.
