Ram Vilas Paswan has indicated that an alliance between his party LJP and BJP may take place just before the 2014 general elections.

Lok Janashakti Party (LJP) leader Ram Vilas Paswan has come forward saying he’s ready for an alliance with the Bhartiya Janata Party in the coming election season. According to the reports, the former NDA partner may be tying up with the BJP for the Lok Sabha elections 2014.

Senior LJP leader Suraj Bhaan had already indicated about the proposed alliance on Sunday. He had said: “The alliance between the BJP and the LJP is confirmed. It will be officially announced soon.” In the mean time, Bihar’s former Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi has also hinted for a possible tie-up by saying that the UPA government was misusing the CBI against Ram Vilas Paswan in recruitment scam.
