Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat has been an interesting serial. It’s been more than a year and the viewers are still glued to it – watching every bit of the serial. However, post the leap things are getting repetitive. Few things are getting repeated and the makers are showing us the same thing with a different angle.
Though the serial is interesting all these monotonous plots is making the serial predictable. Here we share some of the plots that have been repetitive.
The Killing of Rajmata Helena by Siamak
It was Helena who killed Justin so that she could gain Bindusar’s sympathy and now it is Siamak who killed Helena to gain Bindusar’s sympathy. While, Helena mourned Justin’s death by restoring his blood which she imprinted on a cloth, here Siamak has kept her ashes with him. He has vowed not to immerse in the water till he takes revenge of her death. Everything is same but instead of Helena now it is Siamak. His dialogues and actions where almost same as that of Helena who wanted to appear a desh bhakt in spite of being one of the most dreaded enemy of Magadh.
The Constant Failed planning by Sushim, Mahamatya and Charumitra Is Boring Now
All the planning and actions by the enemies to stop AShoka are so monotonous that it has turned boring now. The plan is always the same – talk against Ashoka, make him fall in a certain trap, fill the ears of Bindusar and then make him appear as Chand in front of Bindusar. The story goes in circle and nothing concrete happens. The feeling of Bindusar in a way manipulates though he still loves Ashok and kinda dislike Sushim’s behavior.
Anandini Spoiling the Uptan of Kaurwaki Reminds Us of Noor and AgniShikha
Rememer the incident when Justin was about to marry Agnishikha and Noor was envious? Well, Noor in her jealousy even had spoiled Agnishikha’s uptan by placing irritating stimulants which could destroy Agnishikha’s face. The same thing is repeated once again and this time the victim is Kaurwaki. Anandini will be spiking Kaurwaki’s uptan before she gets ready to marry Ashoka. Yes, just like Noor was jealous, Anandini is jealous too.
During that time, Ashoka’s mother had rescued Agnishika, let’s see who rescues Kaurwaki here. But somehow the entire plot appears to be the same.
Vit is Nothing But another Dhrupad
Remember the youngest son of Bindusar before the leap – Dhrupad? Well, Vit is nothing but his carbon copy. Almost all his traits match with him. He is nice, loves ladoo, and is also sensible unlike Sushim and Siamak. Whatever the writers wrote for Dhrupad, they are making Vit do the same thing. Yes, it is as simple as that.
Kaurwaki and Ashoka’s separation reminded us of Dharma and Bindusar
Besides, the story of separation of Kaurwaki and Ashoka too reminded us of Bindusar and Dharma in a way. They too had to separate. While, Dharma had the royal ring with her, here AShoka had Kaurwaki’s special type of pendant. While, Dharma and Bindusar stayed aloof for 14 years, Kaurwaki and Ashoka.
