Rochelle Rao evicted from Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 5 after Pooja Gaur. Catch the highlights of the nail-biting Episode 6 with 3 elimination rounds here.

Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 5 in its 6th episode saw one more eviction in the form of Rochelle Rao. The girl who performed maximum stunts till date with a sportsman spirit couldn’t manage to move beyond episode 6 of the darr ka blockbuster. Her only mistake was that she didn’t hear Rohit Shetty’s instruction properly while performing the cockroach stunt in the Episode 5. This led both her and her partner Rajneish into the elimination zone.

Although, Rajneish like a hero performed the aerial act where he was supposed to walk on a rolling roll collecting maximum of the flags possible, Rochelle and Nikitan in the same act failed miserably. On the other hand, there were 3 others – Karanvir Bohra, Teejay Sidhu and Daya Shetty competing in yet another elimination round.

Here, Teejay once again proved that women have more strength and patience while performing the Heli Bull ride. Not being a feminist but based on the Punjabi kudis effort she really deserved a round of applause as she could not only beat her handsome husband Karanvir but the muscle man Daya. Like a pro she performed the act, holding on the prop swinging in air for the maximum time.

After Rajneish and Teejay were safe following their heroic act, out of 6 there remained 4 contestants for the second and final elimination round – Rochelle, Karanvir, Daya and Nikitan. I don’t know what is the obsession of Khatron Ke Khiladi with snakes but every alternate act is full of snakes and that too not one or two but hundreds railing over the body of contestants. This act had snails over the face of the contestants up till neck, snake on the middle portion of the body and rats on the third section of the body starting from the knees.

Oh yes, it was that creepy.  The act was to remove the thinnest white snake from the bunch of snakes without getting up or moving out. The sooner the contestant removed 3 white snakes, the better was his/her chance of survival.

Here, the person who went last took the least time followed by the second last, then the third last and then finally the fourth last or let’s keep it simple by saying the first contestant. Nikitan, the last one to go performed the whole act in 1 minute 5 sec, Daya and Karanvir both in the range of 1 minute 50 second while Rochelle, the bali ka bakra took more than 2 minutes to perform, finally being the second contestant to be evicted from Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 5. So, now after the end of episode 6 once again there remain 13 contestants competing for the ultimate crown.

Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 5 day by day is becoming interesting with lots of adventure, thrills and shrieks. The USP of the show is the healthy competition amongst the contestants. The way the participants encourage others while performing every stunt is something good to see because this encouragement from fellow competitors is generally missing in other reality shows where celebrity compete each other.

Another USP of this show is of course Ranvir Shorey who with his timely funny acts keep the entertainment level in check. I only hope the Jodi Ra – Mu (Ra as in Ranvir and Mu as in Mughda) stay for as long as they can, so that the audiences continue to have some lighter moments amidst those ooh, aahs and ouchhs…
