If you could extol Nature, you need not do any other prayers. And by doing so, you are indirectly appreciating it’s Creator. This is the ultimate gospel any religion could teach to it’s followers.
Khushwant Singh used to spend a good part of his last years in the park in front of his apartment at Sujan Singh Park, New Delhi which I visited once to see the ambience that helped him to churn out his prose.
Another Anglo-Indian Writer Ruskin Bond stirred me a lot to dig out the beauties of Nature. In fact, Khushwant and Ruskin are two giants who ignited me to touch this unexplored part of life. Their insights have given me a new frame of mind and with that now everything is looking beautiful and dynamic.
Beauty and happiness are two sides of the same coin. Those who are happy enjoy the beauty and those enjoy beauty are always happy people. Ruskin Bond rightly says that happiness is as elusive as butterfly, and you must never pursue it. He further says that if you stay very still, it may come and settle on your hand. And to stay still for certain time in the day, these green patches – parks certainly help you to get a bountiful of joy !
