Shows hypocrisy on the part of the United States given that it is a champion of green energy – but only within its own territories it seems. When it comes to international business – its purely commercial interests (one can forget “green”).
Speaking of which (Commercial Interests) another piece of interesting news recently was the opening up of field trials of GM crops. I am not sure if our babus even know the meaning of GM (no its not a car brand) – This is probably spearheaded by the seed company called Monsanto , a large US based company that is reputed to indulge in unfair and predatory practices across the world. The developer of the technology called “Terminator Seeds” – meaning that seeds cannot be re-used from the plants (which are genetically modified to be useless) – one has to purchase seeds from the company putting the entire country’s food security at risk.
Remember Omen II – and how one company seeks to profit from Famine in India (sounds like Monsanto doesn’t it)
Whats the point of this article – Point is, “Our bureaucrats had better be careful and smart when dealing with Multinationals – Remember they are out to get you and the country’s taxpayer”
