We Indian girls tend to get attracted to the good looking, the successful and mainly the perfect guy. We try to hunt for perfection in our spouses to the extent that we tend to ignore our imperfections. The science of magnetism between a girl and a guy is not limited to just facial features or the personality factor; it’s more than what you just limit your thinking to. One of the most desirable traits of guy is also his future potential as a breadwinner and his nurturing ability. We realize this factor when it comes to choosing the one you are going to marry.
But, the Indian society produces two kinds of men, 1. Who sit on the pile of money produced by their parents 2. who are creators of the pile of money. One thing which most of the modern day Indian boys forgot to copy from the western culture is being a creator is more important than being just a successor. Succession will give you the power initially but sustainability and the instinct of survival lies with the creator.
The Indian society has great support for the successor, as it is easy inflow of money. The forefathers establish a big business empire and the sons carry it forward. There is nothing wrong in that and it is truly fair and just to carry forward a legacy. But, what if the business fails? What if the successor is not well equipped enough to carry it forward like his forefathers? What’s next? Here comes the role of the creator, which requires dexterity and determination to go hand in hand. A creator will never just be a successor, he will create and recreate till he finds his niche and makes a mark.
So when the question of life long companionship is talked about, why do we get more attracted to the successor? We tend to get attracted to money more than anything. We know that whatever it is, most of the problems can be solved with money. But, why do we ignore the fact that failure and lack of determination and sincerity in men could turn the pile of gold into ash. The guy you choose to getmarried to cannot be a pothead with loads of money because the chances of ruining what he has is higher than him being successful. So don’t let superficial factors shadow your judgments.
A true breadwinner is the one who can provide you a living with his own hard work. Siting on the pile of gold doesn’t make you the true owner of the wealth. It is more attractive to go for the creator of the wealth rather than the guard who takes care of it. We tend to forget that our companion is truly the one who provides us with sustainable livelihood along with life long promise of love and a family.
So, when you choose your partner, don’t forget that there are a lot of fools out there, cherishing their self proclaimed positions and there are a lot of others who are on their path to the become the creator in the true meaning. You will realize that a self made man is any day more successful than the one who is just a follower.
