Yesterday a message about 2 people being buried was doing the rounds on WhatsApp. The message talked about how one made us proud and the other made our heads hang in shame.

But the Times of India seems to think differently. The first 6 pages in yesterday’s edition of TOI were devoted to Yakub, who along with other family members was responsible for nearly 300 people being killed, whilst APJ Abdul Kalam is pushed to page 13.

And mind you, there is not a word on the families of those who perished or suffered due to the blasts. The text and the pictures make Yakub a wronged hero. This coming from a media house of national standing exposes our media’s priorities where traitors and their family get sympathy on the front pages whilst National heros are pushed behind.
THIS IS A REAL SHAME!
