Researchers say that deficiency of vitamin E can lead to neurological damage. Neurons are nerve cells that are highly specialized for the processing and transmission of cellular signals.

The story goes like this human brain is enriched with DHA. The brain gets the DHA nourishment from the liver, as it is unable to produce it on its own.

Lyso PLs are the molecules that help carry the DHA to the brain from the liver. Vitamin E deficiency can greatly reduce the amount of these molecules, when the intake is insufficient. This calls in for neuronal death and an elevated risk of Alzheimer’s disease.

A house is built with all the necessary building materials, in the same way a healthy brain needs adequate amounts of vitamin E, to help and support proper brain health and maintenance. In short vitamin E is essential for brain protection.

I did a nutritious olive salad. Just add olives, salt, lemon juice, crushed garlic, thinly sliced onion and parsley. Drizzle a teaspoon of olive oil over it. It tastes divine! Okay! Somewhat in-between.
